Getting Them To Take
The Viral
Bait
Now getting your viral ebook created is
just one part of the process. There are two other
parts.
The first one is getting your viral ebook
passed around (which we will be talking about next),
and the second thing is getting people to actually read your
viral ebook when they get it.
Yep just because someone downloaded your
viral ebook doesn't mean they are going to read it. You've got
to take the additional steps to make them want to open your
viral ebook and see your marketing message.
Here's the exact technique I use to make
people read my viral ebook...
First thing I do is setup a squeeze page.
It's not hard to do, but if you don't know how to build a
squeeze page, then I recommend that you get The Faster
Webmaster which teaches you to build squeeze pages. All you do
is follow the videos and in no time you'll be able to build
squeeze pages.
Once I have my squeeze page setup, I'll
add a little bit of teaser copy that makes the person visiting
the site want to give me their name and email address in
exchange for getting my viral ebook. That way they are
automatically added to my autoresponder which I load with
several messages telling them about things in my ebook.
This drives them back to my ebook. Either
they will reread and be exposed to my marketing message again,
or they will open it for the first time if they didn't after
downloading it.
Usually 3-4 emails spread out over a few
weeks is plenty to get them to actually read my
ebook.
Remember if they don't read your ebook,
they'll never see your marketing message.
